ADAU1772 Limitor activation through MP5 pin configured as "force limitor compression"

Dear Dave,

I am analyzing the level of the signal through dbreg0 with microcontroller and try to activate the limitor through MP5 configured as limitor compression pin. it states in datasheet that ,

"Setting an MPx pin low when this function is enabled causes the limiter to compress the incoming signal by the minimum gain setting. When the MPx pin is released, the limiter resumes normal behavior."

For normal condition , i set MP5 pin high with a pullup resistor , when i want to trigger the standart limitor to set the signal to Minimum gain setting through this MP5 pin , i set this pin to low from the output of the microcontroller , but i dont see the limitor to be activated, and getting the signal level to the minimum gain setting that has been set in the schematic.

maybe i can not configue the MP5 pin properly ? Can you please show me where i am doing wrong?
