RoshanDalvi Question

I have to design a system which should be capable to interfacing 3 megapixel cameras over USB interface with DSP and application is to detect defective parts in a assembly line. I have to use OpenCV library for image processing algorithms.

I am new to DSP design and need to choose which DSP should be best to fit my requirements.

I have selected ADSP-BF535P for this but not sure if this DSP can meet the 3 megapixel USB camera interface.

Any link or technical clarification will be highly appreciated.

Roshan,

The ADSP-BF535P is our very first Blackfin processor and I am sure that in our portfolio you would find a better fitting and more cost effective solution.

I refer to the ADSP-BF527 for example, running at a maximum of 600MHz, featuring for example HS USB OTG connectivity. Please look at the selection table for more information at the:

Analog Devices Website

Or contact your local distribution representive for more information and assistance in finding the right processor for your specific application.
