ADAU1467 AEC Microsoft Teams Certification
Dear ADI,
we plan to integrate your AEC for SigmaDSPs into our Installation Audio Product. But we would like to certify our product later on for Microsoft Teams. As Microsoft Teams has quite hard requirements for certification, we would like to know if the AEC for SigmaDSPs can be certified at all or if there are fundamental features missing for it?
Acoustic Echo Cancellation [Analog Devices Wiki]
We know that you offer a Microsoft Teams solution for SHARC processors, but our inital thought would be to use your AEC for SigmaDSP.

If there is no way to get the certification with the ADAU1467 and your AEC plugin, then we maybe have to switch to SHARC. Please let us know.
Best regards,
Eric

Hello Eric,
This information is on the AEC page you have the link to in your post:
Standards Compliance and Testing
The AEC-RES algorithm is compliant with the highest performance telecommunication standards tests, Skype for Business. This is a more stringent standard than most ITU standards, so the implementation is pre-qualified for many applications. One notable exception is emergency automotive eCall systems such as those mandated in Europe and the Russian Federation (Glonass). ADI are in the process of qualifying and collecting data for these applications, as well. All measurements are made in ADI's acoustics lab using the international industry standard hardware and ACQUA software from HEAD Acoustics of Germany. For more details on these tests, copies of the data, information on interpreting the results and additional test requests, please contact SigmaStudioLicensing.

Unfortunately, this particular implementation is not Teams compliant. It's useful for many applications, but the SigmaDSP family just doesn't have the resources to meet that standard.
Dear Ken, dear Dave,
thanks for your fast answer. I forwarded the informations into our development team. Then we see if we stick to the Sigma solution of if we go to the more powerful version on SHARC.
Best regards,
Eric
