Hello,

I am having an issue while working with mij EVAL-ADAU1787Z board in SigmaStudio. I am trying to change the gain value of a gain block using a Parameter Update block. Something that looks like it should be possible. However, I can't get it to work. The same applies to reading back the gain value using a Parameter Readback block.

When I try to connect these blocks to the gain value Gain1940AlgNS1, I can only select Gain1940AlgNS1_3. When I read back this value using the Readback block, it read form a completely different adress than where the actual gain value is stored and it returns 0. I assume something similar is happening in the Parameter update block.

Could you tell me what my error is here? I feel like I'm trying to do something very basic, but I just can't get it to work. I've linked my project to this post.

Thank you in advance.

With kind regards,

Thijs

Hello Thijs,

It is best to drop a project in to a window in a reply so I do not have to go out to an external server to get it. We now have drag and drop functionality on the forum.

I will have a look...

Hello Dave,

I did drag and drop my project into the window, but I clicked "convert to link" because I didn't like how much space the attachment icon was taking up in my message. I thought this would just visually change the link to the project file, but apparently I was mistaken. My apologies.

Kind regards,

Hello Thijs,

I know what you mean. For some reason the web site puts in this huge picture for the link, but once you submit it the attachment becomes a small link and not a huge picture.
