Good day. Can you please give an example and modify the circuit in the attachment to use a selectable frequency filter?
Also, the probe was working and suddenly stop, can you explain why this happened.
Thanks in advance

Hello Izhmel,

I have not looked at your example projects yet, I will do that tomorrow during my work day but here is one of my example projects using an AUXADC to control an index controlled filter.

The Probe feature has limited usefulness with the parts that use a Sigma300 core. The Core is powerful enough to calculate its own coefficients so the probe feature has no way to know what they are. Then with an index selectable filter, SigmaStudio has no idea what the index value is in the DSP so it cannot display anything. The probe feature is calculated and runs all on the host PC not in the DSP. In addition, you cannot insert other blocks like a compressor into the signal chain of the stimulus and probe. SigmsStudio has no way to know what the audio is doing. All it can do is calculate the filter transfer function and display it.

Hi Dave, sorry to intervene.

Hello Izhmel,

The program that Dave gave you above is well explained and enough for what you asked for. Please refer the attached program below as well that uses the same filter block that you used in your example. You can select the index value by using a AUXADC or directly using a DC block or writing to the DC block's address from a uC.

You can get rid of the readback cells that I used. That was just to verify the value.

Hello Izhmel,

I'm not sure why you want the volume control block to choose the index selection. Volume control block's input needs to be connected with any source otherwise you will get an error in compilation. So, at least you have to connect a DC block to the inputs of volume control block.

So, why don't you just use a DC block for index selection? You wanted to control the slider manually, so you can do the same with DC. Since it is for index selection, the volume block's output must be 32.0 format number.

For the mux selection, is there any reason that you are using AUXADC, multiplier, gain with a volume controller together? The Mux index selection pin will accept a 32.0 number. Eventually you have to bring the value to be 0,1,2 to select a mux. If you use AUXADC to select, then that's different and can be done with above attached projects.

If you want to select the mux with a slider of the volume control block manually means, No need for AUXADC there. You can simply use a DC.

Anyway, I modified the project as you asked for. Please have a look.

Thanks for the modifications. I did not explain well. I wanded to use the AUX /ADC pins to select the frequencies and the MUX. I can't get the probe working there is no simulation.

can you please make the changes and to delete any unnecessary parts? I could not find a splitter that could be used to provide 4 out from a single output is why I used the volume control block to feed the filters.

Thanks

Hello Izhmel,

Please refer to the attached project. It uses four AUXADC's. One for selecting the mux and other three for selecting three different filters. I hope this is what you asked for.
