Can ADAU1452 be used for multi-channel noise control? Is there enough computing power? Plan 2 inputs and 2 outputs.

Hello javaboy,

This processor is capable of running 6144 instructions per sample period at the sample rate of 48KHz. Pull the output window by using cntrl+4 or click the view at task bar on the top >> output window. This will give you a compiler report of how many instruction cycles, memory have been used by your program.

This is a stream processor or sample processor, which means your entire schematic will be run every sample period. At the rate of 48KHz, your entire schematic will be run every 20.83uS. You can run 6144 instructions in a sample period. Now look at the output window and see how many instructions you have used.

You can see that your above requirement will use only a few percentages of the core power. It is very capable of more than that.

Regards,

Harish

Thank you for your careful answer. It helped me a lot. I still have a question: can I record a curve of the value changing with time in sigma Studio? I need to check the control effect. I don't seem to find a similar module. The level detection module changes in real time, but my requirement is to display the change curve of the target value after the control is started. This is very simple in labview. It only needs a chart module.
