Hello,

I have already performed several tests with the IC ADAU1452, I am not able to use the ASRC module.
My application requires the base sample rate to be 192KHZ.

I need to connect the output of IC ADAU1452 Data3 out to IC CS8406 to get professional standard EAS/EBU output.

I manage to make it work well both as master and slave for the sample rate of 192KHZ, without problems.

The problem is that I will also need to convert the 192KHZ signal to 96KHZ and 48KHZ so that the output sample rate for the CS8406 is selectable, so it will work with most audio devices on the market.

I am now trying to use the ADAU1452 ASRC module to convert this from 192KHZ to 96KHZ and 48 KHZ, I can't make the sample rate change, it always stays at 192KHZ both in master and slave in the LRCK.

My MCLK is 24.576MHZ on the CS8406.

Is it possible to convert from 192KHZ to 96KHZ and 48KHZ using the ASRC module, and return to the DSP and select which audio will be sent to IC CS8406 to work in the 3 conditions of sample rate?

If this is a task that I will not be able to accomplish with the ADAU1452's internal ASRC, my only way out will be to place TI's IC SRC4192 to solve this problem between the ADAU1452 output and the CS8406 input.

Please help me clarify if this is possible.

Thanks

Fabio

Hello Fabio,

Please try whether this attached project works. This project runs at 192KHz.
