I have two eval board that have issues. I asked my purchasing department to work with the distributor we bought them from to obtain replacements. That dragged on for months with no success so I asked for them back. The boards have the following issues:

EVAL-ADAU1701MINIZ excessive clock jitter made visible with my APX555 analyzer.

SSM2603-EVALZ bad channel, obvious using the APX555.

Is there any possibility I could work direct with you guys to get these replaced/repaired?

Hello Barry,

With our large bureaucracy it makes this sort of stuff a bit difficult sometimes. PM me and we can discuss. I think you are in the USA which will make things a bit easier.

I am wondering about the 1701 jitter? Did you obtain a replacement and it works better?

don't know how to PM you here....

Been a while but the jitter was visible in one of the APX555 tests and something I read either in its manual or on your site said clock jitter would be the likely cause. I have 1787 and 1772 eval boards that are fine. the SSM2603 was also fine for that testing, just one channel bad.

I did not obtain a replacement board - we moved to the ADAU1772. The ADAU1701 didn't have the temp range. I'd like to get the eval board fixed if it really has an issue and experiment with the SigmaDSP design. The ADAU1772 has limited capabilities in comparison. I sent you a photo of the jitter symptoms to your PM. I'll do the same test with the APX555 and see if it looks the same.

Edit: 4-27-2023: I do not see the clock jitter characteristics with the APX555. I do see a harmonics of the 1KHZ signal though that do not appear with a ADAU1772 eval board.
