We need to flash the 'preset data' in specific offset address in the EEPROM flash memory and need to read the 'preset data' from flash memory in run time from the specific flash offset. Is this possible to verify this with the inbuilt modules with EVAL-ADAU1452 Ezkit . Please share details.

Also, Please share the example code for reading data from flash memory using Designer Algorithm. Similar to the 'Flash_Read' API in SHARC.

Hello Ks929,

I cannot share any assembler code here and I do not have any for this anyway. Contact us directly via email.

However, your other request is good to have here on the forum for others to see.

However, I do not have the time to do this right now. I will explain this, give you an example and leave it to you to make a few changes and test it.

I want to respond quickly rather than two weeks from now.

Here is where you find the interface read and write that are for the master control port. These are different from the ones in the GPIO section.

Here is a program I wrote using the standard GPIO interface write/read blocks.

6837.ADAU1452 Test of Interface read and write with Default Setting.zip

So change out the interface blocks with the ones from the Master port.

The only odd thing about these blocks is there is no way to actually set the address!! Kind of an obvious thing to add to the GUI but the programmer missed it.

It is an exposed parameter so you can use the Parameter read and write to update it or use a system controller to update it. but then if you had a system controller you would not need to be doing this.

Give this a try and I hope you can get it up and running. Please feel free to share it here if you like.
