The two built-in pots are 10 K ohms, so this would be the ideal value for additional pots. Yet according to the ADAU1467 Data Sheet, the Aux ADCs feature a 200 K ohm input impedance, much higher than that of some earlier SigmaDSPs. Since a 50 K ohm pot has a worst-case output resistance of 12.5 K ohms, it should work OK. The slight nonlinearity caused by loading the pot output -- resulting in a 6 % droop from the expected half-range level -- wouldn't be noticeable in most audio applications.
