I am using ADAU1467 to make a AMP project. supply 32 outputs, and each output implements 31-segment EQ and 48DB/OCT high-pass/low-pass, which exceeds MIPS of ADAU1462. Can SigmaStudio realize dynamic allocation of resources? For example, dynamic allocate Filters when Needed?

Hello TimYuan,

The short answer is no. It cannot change its program dynamically. There are no conditional execution capabilities beyond some basic stuff in assembler. Nothing to do what you are mentioning.

There may be a more clever way to do what you are trying to do that would save instructions. I would have to see your project or if you have a detailed block diagram that might help. However, 32 outputs with each one having a 32 band EQ is tough. That is 992 EQ bands in your project? Do I have that right?

What sampling rate are you running at?

One possible way to do this is to drop down to a lower sampling rate for the lower frequencies of EQ? Again, I would need to understand what you are doing to see if this makes sense and if it would help?

How many inputs do you have?
