Communication between sigmastuidio and BF706
Title: Difficulty Communicating Between SigmaStudio and BF706 via Interface Protocol Description: I am currently facing challenges in establishing communication between SigmaStudio and the BF706 processor using the Interface Protocol. Surprisingly, when I create an Input block in SigmaStudio without any connections, the signal is successfully transmitted to the BF706. Please note that I am not considering the ADAU output; I am solely focused on transferring input signals from ADAU to BF706 for signal processing. Problem: 1. Difficulty in configuring SigmaStudio and BF706 for communication using the Interface Protocol. 2. Successful signal transfer when using an unconnected Input block in SigmaStudio, but not with the Interface Protocol. Request: I am looking for guidance, examples, or solutions on how to properly configure SigmaStudio to send input signals to the BF706 processor for signal processing. I am interested in a setup where SigmaStudio passes the signals to BF706, and I can subsequently process them on the BF706 side. Additional Information: - I have verified the hardware connections. - I have attempted various configurations in SigmaStudio without success. - BF706 is set up and operational. BF706 is not supported with Sigma Studio.
The supported IC's with Sigma Studio are here.
You need to route the audio signal through HW schematic and ADAU IC's can connect with SigmaStudio through SPI/I2C.
