Thread Summary

The user wants to control the volume of an ADAU1466 DSP using an Arduino Nano via SPI, saving and restoring the volume value on power cycles. The final answer directs the user to the Analog Devices uC interfacing page for example Arduino-compatible code to control the DSP. The thread includes specific volume values and their corresponding 4-byte parameter data for the HWGainADAU145XAlg1target at address 0x0022.

Hi. My problem is that I shut down the power using push volume on adau1466 When turned on, the volume is initialized (interface read, write does not work)
So, by connecting Arduino Nano with SPI, I want to control the volume by pressing the button in Arduino, save the volume value to Arduino, and write the volume value stored in safeload when the power is turned on.
I have no experience in programming, and I've looked a lot on the internet, but I never understood it. May I know how to code?

When you simply turn on the power, you want to write the volume value stored in Arduino to the DSP RAM, and when you press two buttons (volume up, down) connected to Arduino, you want to write a specific volume value.

This is the value when the volume value is changed in sigmastudio.
All I want is to press the button and simply let it drop or go up one by one from 16 values.

Hello NSteven,

For interfacing the MCU with DSP, please refer the below uC interfacing page. It has the example code which is arduino compatible. You will have some idea about how to control the DSP with the uC.
