Hello, I am creating a signal delay device for PA systems. For this I am using the DSP Delay that comes with Signa Studio and I need to add physical control using a rotary encoder but in the delay I cannot find a way to add external control, I also need to add an LED screen, do you know how I can do it?

Thanks a lot

Hello Paco, Here is an example of how to do the rotary control of a delay line.

Setting up an LED screen is a HUGE subject and will require a microcontroller. There are a number of posts here that discuss how to interface a DSP with a controller to read and write values. The LED screen has to be controlled via the controller.

If you get a system controller involved then you might just end up using the controller to decode the rotary encoder and then just stuff the delay values directly into parameter RAM. There are so many ways to do the same task.

My example project also shows how to control the delay with an AUXADC pot.
