Hi,

I'm currently working on ADAU1787 development board, I trying to interface a Bluetooth module with ADAU787 development board.

I would like to establish a communication via Bluetooth by using two ADAU1787 on both the ends.

So the audio I send via the board 1 is processed and received via Bluetooth on the board 2 and able to listen using the external speaker out.

Kindly share some example files for reference.

Or if there is anything needs to be configured please let me know.

Regards,
Sai

Hello Sai,

There are so many ways to configure a serial port. Do you happen to know the best way to operate the Bluetooth module you have? Does it need to be the clock master? If it is not a clock master then does it do sample rate conversion in the module that you might want to avoid?

Do you have any other digital parts you will be connecting to? Often what is best when you have digital signals going over the air transmission is to have it be the clock master and follow its sample rate. The ADAU1787 has sample rate converters built in so it can easily follow the incoming rate.

Likewise, the audio data coming from the ADAU1787 can go through a sample rate converter and go back out to the Bluetooth module at the rate the module is sending. If this is the way you want to operate then we can get an example file over to you.

Will you be using the ADCs built into the part? I assume you will be using the headphone outputs? All this is best done in the SigmaDSP instead of the Fast DSP.
