I have connected a simple stereo ADC :

ADC Analog to Digital Converter WM8782 I2S 24Bit

from

https://www.audiophonics.fr/en/devices-hifi-audio-adc/adc-analog-to-digital-converter-wm8782-i2s-24bit-192khz-p-13351.html

it's connected to my ADAU1452eval Board, J2 ( I2S Input 3 )

I tried the configure the ADC to slave or to master , treid nearly every thing on the ADAU1452 hardware config , but I can't get it work.

Could anybody help ?

The ADC i: Jumper 1 to 48KHz, Jumper 2 MCLK=24,576 MhzTest1.dspproj
The DIp Switch can be Slave or Master

Cheers,

Stephan

Hello Stephan,

With an exact setup like yours, my board outputs correctly with your project unmodified, so your project seems fine. If you set your ADC as master, then please probe the serial clocks and data. Just verify that your ADC is outputting the clocks and data.

Add some meters in the input side (right after serial input blocks), so that you will know if the signal is getting inside the core.

Since the ADC module runs at different MCLK domain, you have to use the ASRC, or you should set the start pulse rate to be the incoming serial port rate. By doing this, you can simply have the core start the frame processing after a new sample has arrived.

Just probe the serial clocks and data at your ADC out, you will know what is happening and kindly share the scope shots.

Regards,

Harish

Thanks very much for your hints. I'll have a check on these and come back
