Pops when switching banks
Hi,
I am currently working with ADAU 1787 fastDSP specifically with bank switching to change the gain in a smooth way. After trial and error, I have figured out that when switching banks, the Dynamic Processor/limiter/standard/limiter bloc causes pops when I switch banks, and the same is true for the mixer/multiple control/No slew/Linear block when its value is different between the banks. I have only had no pops when leaving the mixer values constant, removing the limiter blocs and changing the values of my biquads (second order filters).
Is there a way to make those blocs not create pops on my signal when switching from banks A/B/C ? Or is that an inherent limitation of the ADAU 1787?
I would like to avoid having to send the data back to the SigmaDSP for my limiting as I wish to be able to have active noise control in the long term while having the security of a limiter and no pops when switching banks.
Take care,
Elliot.

Elliot,
Can you send the SigmaStudio project you are using if possible? The bank switch mechanism should allow for smooth transitions between settings. If we are able to test your project we can re-create this on our end.
