NakulDesai Question

Hello,

I've been struggling with this for a bit and am trying to decide whether this is a software or hardware issue. I am using a WONDOM/Sure Electronics JAB 4 to power a desktop audio system. All four channels are used (right tweeter, right woofer, left tweeter, left woofer). I cannot seem to apply any EQ to the left woofer. I have tried creating new programs, thinking the file may be corrupted but no solution. The crossover does its job but no EQ. Any thoughts? Could this be a hardware issue? Tempted to just order a new board and check but I'd like to see if anyone has any input first.

A little clarification: The program shows as loaded and shows the EQ is going to both left and right woofers, however, from my measurements it is clear the left woofer is not receiving the modified signal but rather the original without the EQ. Everything else is functioning normally.

Hello NakulDesai,

Can you attach your project?

If you do not want to post it then do two things.

1) Request to be a friend to me.

2) Send me a DM with your project attached.

Actually, one more thing you can post here for sure. This is nothing propriatery.

Go to the IC1 Folder that SigmaStudio creates in your project folder.

Open that folder and you will see this:

Then open the net_list_out2 folder and you will see this:

Attach the compiler output text file into your reply.

Thanks,

Dave T

Hi Dave,

Certainly, here is a screenshot of the schematic:

And I have attached the compiler output text file.

Thank you,
Nakul

Hello Nakul,

Thanks for the info. I was able to see a few details but not enough to see the issue. I would need to see the project itself.

I know you are using this stock board with no schematics for it. Check a few things I mentioned on this recent post:

(+) ParametricEQ frequency axis incorrect? - Q&A - SigmaDSP Processors & SigmaStudio Dev. Tool - EngineerZone (analog.com)

You could have the opposite issue. That board should have a 12.288MHz crystal and it should be setup for 256x fs to give you 48kHz base sample rate.

If you are telling SigmaStudio to run at 192kHz then your filters would actually be running at 1/4th the frequency. So it might be so low that you do not see it changing.

If this does not fix it then send the project over.

Thanks,

Dave T

Hi Dave, looks like I got it! I reset the sample rate to 48 khz and it looks like its working fine now. Thank you for the help.
