Hello,

Is it possible to add my own DSP functions written in C or asm?
I am using EVAL-ADAU1467Z.

Hello RomanR,

Unfortunately there are no tools for programming in C. The assembler we have is not openly available because some of the information is proprietary and we do not have the resources to support the tools. There are some 3rd party developers that can produce custom code if needed but that would be an arrangement between you and the 3rd party.

I see you are in a university. Feel free to send me a PM to tell me what you are researching. If you do send me a PM do not forget to also send a friend request so I can respond.

Thanks,

Dave T

Hello Dave,

thank you for your quick and precise answer. I understand the assumptions of Sigma Studio and these systems, so I will only show my students that there are ready-made solutions for people who do not want to write programs in C or ASM. This is a good idea, probably taken from DSPconcepts.

However, maybe there is an ADAU1467Z datasheet? Does this system contain FIR, IIR, FFT accelerators, or just a typical dual SHARC execution unit?

With regards,

Roman
