Distorted Sigma Studio Module
My group has been working with one sigma studio dspproj for some time, adding and tweaking various parts. Recently we found that whenever we add a module, either from the toolbox or copied from the project itself, the module appearance is distorted (see attached image). We can grow or add to the module and the new part of the module looks as usual (see attached image), but the original module remains distorted. It remains that way even if we reduce or remove back to the original module. Various combinations of these actions yield various combos of good and distorted modules (see attached image). This happens in sigma studio versions 4.5 and 4.6. Happens on several different windows laptops and in a windows simulation (parallels) on macos. Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Hello User2,
Download Rev 4.7. I am not certain if these things are fixed but this revision has been out for a while now.
Which part are you using? The library elements go with the part being used so that bit of info might be important.
Thanks

Thanks Dave. Will look into 4.7. We are using the 1787. FWIW - I also realized that the module is not distorted if brought into a hierarchy board, but is distorted in the "Main" schematic. Additionally, I was able to get an initial fix by duplicating the dspproj with my OS, opening the duplicate and original in Sigma Studio, deleting all the processing in the duplicate, and copying the processing back into the duplicate from the original one chunk at a time. I am concerned something may have been modified in the process, but at least now we can add new modules without distortion.
The issue still exists in 4.7. Will continue with our fixed file for now.
Hello
Thanks for the info. The ADAU1787 is a rather new DLL so there may be a bug in there but I suspect that something was corrupted in the project and persisted. Your fix may take care of it but if it comes back then if you can attach the project that would be helpful.
Thanks for downloading the latest version. That experiment makes me think it is project file related for some reason.
