How to set sample rate in SS+ like done in 4.7?

I'm sure I've missed something obvious, but a search of the Wiki/docs (with "sample rate"@resources:tools-software:sigmastudiov2) did not turn up anything.

Where has this from 4.7:

gone in SS+?

I have a multirate project (a mix of 48 kHz and 96 kHz I/O and processing) from 4.7 for an ADAU1452 and thought I would try and recreate in SS+.

I have set Core Control in SS+ like in 4.7:

but I need to tell the blocks that are sample rate dependent what sample rate to use. I see there's an option to set it on individual blocks but is there no global option in SS+? For blocks that are sample rate dependent (filters, etc) that don't have a setting, are they reading the sample rate from the input? Is there some way to display the sample rates of everything vs. right clicking on each box, etc?

Thanks,

Brewster

Dear Brewster :

In Sigmastudio+ the sample rate is derived from the input block so you only need to set the sample rate in the Properties pane and register map. The blocks connected to that input will be at that sample rate including the output block. Once you set the input blocks rate you have fully set the rate for all the following blocks.

Hi Phenix,

This is an ADAU1452 using multiple I2S ports/clock domains. Some inputs are at 48 kHz, and others at 96 kHz (they're locked so no need for ASRC). Likewise there's some sample rate conversion (both up and down) in the schematic and a couple places where there's a generator (e.g. sine) which doesn't really know anything about a default rate - but I can set in the block's properties.

With the control from SS 4.7 gone I was mostly looking to confirm that things operate as one might expect, which I think you've confirmed.

Definitely want to make a feature request to somehow enable showing what the sample rate the SS+ thinks each block is running at.
