Sigma Studio installation
when I run the following:
root@Home:/home/gary/Downloads# sigma_tcp
server: bind: Address already in use
server: bind: Address already in use
Failed to bind
The software is trying to connect to 192.168.254.12 which is used by my pacemaker monitor. I definitely don't want to mess with that. How can I change the setup so sigma_tcp tries to use another address?

Sorry for the reply which will have more questions than answers.
SigmaStudio is a program for programming a SigmaDSP which is a DSP designed for audio or similar applications. As far as I know it is not used for any medical or pacemaker applications. Since you did not provide any part numbers or product numbers I have no idea where to move your post? Perhaps another space on the forum is the right place but I have no idea where?
Who makes this pacemaker? I think you need to contact the manufacturer not Analog Devices which is a semiconductor company.

I got what sigma studio is used for. I am not trying to use it on my pace maker. I cant give more information other than it's the latest version of the sigma software which I intend to use to program an TSA1701 board. I hope this helps.

If you read what you wrote you will understand why I was so confused and you did not fill out software version or product version did not help. Yes, the 1701 board helps to know that.
There are some bugs with the TCP/IP implementation that have not been addressed for a long time. One of our very smart users documented some work-arounds.
