Bug Report: Sigma Studio - "Check Last Compilation Through DSP" fails if pop up windows with result from previous call is still open
I found another bug of Sigma Studio 4.7 for the access of EEPROM via DSP.
After using the funciton "Check Last Compilation Through DSP" a pop up window is shown with the result. If this window is not closed (and accidently sent to background) next call of "Check Last Compilation Through DSP" does irratic things. Even capture windows claims to do, it doesn't read any data from EEPROM. I can see the request for the page but no result. Test with logic analyzer on SPI bus to EEPROM confirms that there is absolutely no traffic on SPI.
I attached capture logs from working and non-working "Check Last Compilation Through DSP" for reference.
I have to say that all these bugs with the access of EEPROM through DSP actions makes development really hard. Already spending days to find out how to treat Sigma Studio nicely, so it does what is expected.
I hope that ADI continues to fix SigmaStudio and makes it work smoothly.. Migration to SigmaStudio+ is unfortunately no option at the moment, as it lacks support of codec ICs and AEC plugin.Sigma Studio - Check Last Compilation Through DSP - Ok.logSigma Studio - Check Last Compilation Through DSP - Failed.log

Hello andreas.ru,
Thanks for reporting this. I will check and get back to you.

Another quick question.
Which part are you using? This code is housed in the DLL for each part so it is conceivable that one part could have an issue but another one does not.

This was observed in a project using:
IC1: ADAU1467
IC2: E2PROM
