SigmaStudio+ 2.3.0 Cannot update to 2.3.0.1 bug
In the SigmaStudio+ IDE we go to run update manager and start the update of 2.3.0.1 but it closes and the window disappears after pressing start.....
Also tried with SigmaStudio+ closed from the CMD line below and it does same thing....
"C:\Program Files\ADI\Host\UpdateManager.exe" 2.3.9049.30137

Seems to work when I opened SS+ in admin mode.

I am pretty sure you found the answer. Usually any updates need to be done in Admin mode.

Yes we updated successfully, however the bug I thought it was supposed to solve has not be solved... so we are stuck.
Connections to hierarchy boards is very buggy... if we duplicate block simple block say 16x and connect in/out ports to I/O then only some of them actually connect.. even though the wires are there initially, saving the opening again some connections are gone and you simply cannot compile.
Making a very large design on one schematic you can kindof workaround this but its impossible to keep the design clean like this.

I guess to continue to help we would need to see your program and what you are trying to do. Plus, details on exactly how to replicate the issue. You gave some info but we would need to be able to replicate it here to see what needs to be fixed.
The problem may already be reported and in the queue to be fixed but I am not sure.
