Hello!

My task is to turn on one LED when one position is selected on the switch and turn on another LED if the second position is selected. Surely, this simple task has already been discussed, but I could not find a solution. I need an indication of the fact of the position selection even in the absence of a signal, so level detectors are not applicable.

Hello OctopusDev

I have tested your requirement on the ADAU1467, and the logic is working well. Please try this same logic on the ADAU1701. I hope it works as expected.

Let me know if you need any further assistance.

Best regards,

Harish

Hello OctopusDev,

The solution that Harish put up is great. That will work just fine. There are so many ways to do the same thing using SigmaStudio and I had something come to mind and took a moment to put it together. I took an old-timer's approach from back in the analog days when you had one switch. So part of the switch was to switch the analog and the other to switch the logic. So that is what I did. Took a stereo switch and used half for audio and half for logic.

I did an inversion because the GPIO works to output a low when it is sent a zero and a high when it is sent anything that is not zero.

Here is my hack at this problem...
