Hello

I am using a band pass filter and an all pass filter in Sigma Studio, and I have some questions that I have while using them.

The picture below is the entire block diagram that I use. I made two input signals with different frequencies pass through the filter in Sigma Studio.

Q1) When adjusting the GAIN for one signal, I used to control the PGA to adjust the GAIN of the PGA, but if I adjust the GAIN part of the ALL-PASS FILTER, can I give different gains to the two signals when the two signals are parallel?

Q2) It seems that by adjusting the Q value of the ALL-PASS FILTER, the PHASE is adjusted at the center frequency of the ALL-PASS FILTER, but how much is the PHASE adjusted per Q value? How can I get the PHASE per Q value?

Thank you.

Hello YeongJi,

First, I have a question for you. Which processor are you using? It looks like it could be the ADAU1772,1777 or 1787?

Qi: Yes, you can adjust the gain of the all-pass to adjust the gain of one signal path over other.

However, you can also just drop in a volume control. The volume control is an all-pass filter but it makes the control of it much simpler and more intuitive.

Your other question I do not know the answer to so that will require some research.

Have you looked at this page for some answers?
