Our client is using ADAU1452 in one of their products. We are trying to introduce an adaptive filtering algorithm developed by our company into their ADAU1452 chips. I have reviewed some of your documents, where state that ADAU1452 does not support "Algorithm Designer". I want to confirm whether it is possible to run our own algorithm, implemented in C, on ADAU1452?

Hello Zhao,

Sorry I missed this post earlier. You cannot write in C with the SigmaDSP cores. There is no C compiler, it all has to be done in assembly language and it requires intimate knowledge of the core architecture which is why it is not made public. I can see where you are located, contact me through your local ADI rep and we can discuss options. Do this soon.

Thanks,

Dave T

Thanks for the answer! The product was already manufactured with ADAU1452. Our client was trying to add our algorithm as a new feature. It seems impractical now for this product, but we might have a chance to discuss options in future products with our clients.
