ADAU1466 - Pop Noise when i click Link compile Download

Which exact eval board are you using?

We have a couple of different models.

I am editing my response here since I do not know how fast you can respond.

Can you try to mute the outputs in your project. Then after you link/compile/download, then unmute. Do you still hear a pop?

Hi Dave,

Yes even with the mute enabled like your screenshot, i can hear a pop after link/compile/download.

My eval board is EVAL-ADAU1466Z
08-047914 Rev.B

I have even tried to replicate the project in the new SigmaStudio+ v2.4 software. Same issue exist. When i click link compile download i hear a specific sound on the headphones even with mute enabled as shown below.

Interesting, when i enabled the "Disable Reset PLL during Download" i stopped getting these pop sound after i click ink compile download. Do you know the reason behind?
