Hello,

We've been using for a long time Sigma Studio with a ADAU1401A for an old project. We upgraded to the ADAU1452 for having delay functions, and we re-made the program to be the same. We've encountered different problems, listed here:

We're using two audio channels, analog input to analog output. For the ADAU1452 we use an external codec, as it has only digital inputs.

For the ADAU1401A (or ADAU1701) we had no problem at all. Both channels behaved similarly (not the same, but we think this is due to a graphical knee compressor, even though we copied the block)

For creating the ADAU1452 project we made channel A and then copied blocks (changing names) for the channel B.

For the ADAU1452 we've encountered that for the initial project (where audios up to 8~9kHz work fine) if we inject a sinewave over 10kHz the output volume oscillates slowly, being this change audible with periods of ~10s.

We erased the channel B path and re-copied its blocks, and now the audio does not oscillates

Are there any known issues with the SigmaStudio 4.7 in conjuntion with the ADAU1452? IF needed, we can provide the old and new projects as private message.

Best regards,

Manuel

Hello Manuel,

We haven't come across any issues like this before. So, could you please attach the project in PM?

Please send friend request, so that I can respond.
