AEC/NR functionality in SigmaStudio+ – workarounds or release plan
Hi everyone,
I’m working on a SigmaDSP project and currently testing both the classic SigmaStudio and the new SigmaStudio+.
While the old SigmaStudio setup works, for the final design we will need to expand the system to multiple speakers and microphones. At the same time, I noticed that in SigmaStudio+ some common blocks like AEC (Acoustic Echo Cancellation) and NR (Noise Reduction) are not available.
I wanted to ask the community:
Has anyone found workarounds or alternative block combinations to achieve AEC/NR functionality in SigmaStudio+? Or do you know if these blocks are planned to be released in a future update?
Do you know if/when these algorithms might be added to SigmaStudio+?
Are there documents, examples, or projects that explain how to implement these functions ourselves?
Has anyone here purchased algorithms separately from Analog Devices (e.g. for AEC/NR), and could you share what that process looks like (and maybe the cost range)?
Any experiences, advice, or pointers would be very helpful for deciding how to proceed — whether to keep improving the old SigmaStudio project or to push further with SigmaStudio+.
I have attached my SigmaStudio+ project file to this post for reference, in case it helps to better understand what I’m working on.
Thanks in advance for your input!
Best regards,
Sphaira
