Hello, To start off I'll say i am very new to dsp. I have a master/slave setp with the master running my tower speakers and the slave running a pair of 12" subs. The amp boards are KABD 4100 aka JAB5. I have the towers sounding pretty good. My issue is with the volume on the subs. It is very weak even with the POT turned up all the way. The onll way I have been able to get the subs up to a proper volume is to turn the gain and boosts way up which is giving me a buzzing noise or a medium pitched hum. I assume I'm also clipping them but havent hooked up an oscope to confirm that. Mt setup is mini pc -> DAC -> the dsp/amp boards. I've screenshot the setup for the bioard below. . It's just a simple setup since as stated above, thats the extent of my knowledge of dsp so far. I hope to expand that so if you could please tell me what i should fix and maybe a brief explanation it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Hello diyhfi,

As a first step toward troubleshooting this issue, try adding level meters to your sub project, like this:

This will tell you whether sufficient audio is coming in. See David Thib's SigmaStudio YouTube series, which includes a video on troubleshooting techniques like this.

Best regards,

Bob
