Read/Write to EEPROM does not work anymore, but selfboot does
I've built a custom ADAU1452 board with a Winbond W25Q SPI flash. I have used this board with no issues for the last 6 months or so but I had to reconfigure it and for some reason I can't write to the flash anymore (through the DSP). It doesn't give any error, but it doesn't seem to write any data, erase or read the contents. The only way to upload the program is to use a CH431 programmer and write the binary directly, then it selfboots just fine.
I have the W25 connected to the SPI master port, and I write it through the DSP just like I did before. I probed the MOSI line and there seems to be some activity when uploading.
I'm thinking that if this is a new project maybe something got misconfigured registry-wise. What can I check?

Hello bogdansrb,
Since it was already working, I believe everything is fine in the hardware side. So, did you use SS or SS+ when you programmed the EEPROM six months ago?
If SS+, what version did you use then and now?
There are not so much to check with registers and all with master control port, we will just add EEPROM and config the port and then write, so it's fairly simple process. So, there could be something else.
Could you please attach your project?
Make sure that the self-boot switch is turned OFF while writing to the EEPROM.
Regards,
Harish
I used SS 4.7, but now neither SS or SS+ (3.3.0) work. SS shows FF FF ... when reading the EEPROM, SS+ shows nothing.
The way I configured is to add USBi, add the ADAU1452 on I2C and add E2Prom on SPI 0x1 ADR0. Selfboot is off.
Here are the files for both versions of SigmaStudio.

Hello bogdansrb,
A quick update, while reviewing your Sigma Studio project, I observed a few EEPROM properties mismatches.
Kindly configure the EEPROM properties as per the following settings for the W25Q80DVSSIG.

Harish
Thank you, It seems to be working for now but only with the 1Mbit flash.
