What are all of the settings necessary to enable the second I2C port on the ADAU146x series of SigmaDSP chips?

I have designed and fabricated a board based on the ADAU1463. The only device on the SPI_M port is the SELFBOOT memory chip. There are fives devices on the second I2C_M port, each with a unique I2C address, wired to pins 30 and 31.

At the bottom of the "ADAU1463 - Settings" page for "MULTIPURPOSE 1" I have the button green for "I2C master drives MP24 and MP25"

On that same page, "MP10_x1". which mysteriously corresponds to MP24_x is set to "Primary function of the pin is selected" and "MP11_x1" a.k.a. MP25_x is set the same. i.e. neither one is set to MP24 or MP25 GPIO function, but should be operating as I2C.

I am asking because I have not yet been able to get the I2C bus working, and I want to be sure that I know all of the settings needed for it to be functional.

Since no other devices besides the SELFBOOT EEPROM are on the SPI_M bus, I assume that there is no conflict that would prevent I2C from working on the alternate pins.

Hello Brian,

Here are the couple of post which explain how this works.
