pop sound when link compile download a project
hello,im facing some issue that is a pop noise came after i link compile download this project. I has checked by using a dc blocker after multipler block that multiply signal for agc but maybe its doesnt the main problem. Pop sound will more bigger if i dont add a volume control slew behind resuilt alias.
is there any solution to fix that?

Hello rainy75x,
You are doing a lot in this project. You seem to be setting up your own form of a compressor/AGC circuit. So there is a lot of places something could be creeping in.
When you start the program some multiplier might be super high or at zero causing the issue.
I suggest you experiment with adding things like mute blocks. Compiling it with the mute on then see if you can hear it. If you can then it is after the mute, if it is gone then it is before the mute.
Then bypass things like this
This Result signal has a lot of math going on that might need some time to settle. So remove the "Result" and just put in a DC cell set to "1" so you multiply by one.
It is good that you have a DC block at the start of the audio path.
I just lost power again for a second time today so I am pushing it...
This should get you started some.

Dear Dave,
i've checked all with mute / non mute, decrease multipler rate but i really sad to say that i have no idea how to fix that. Honestly,i even try re-draw from stratch but problem still there
Hope u have an idea for me :(
Thanks alot

It might be difficult to avoid a pop during 'download' because the SigmaDSP firmware reboots and restarts from scratch. An easier goal might be to have real-time parameters that you can change without a full 'download' - this represents real-world performance when the device is not power-cycled or restarted in the middle of the audio. As Dave said, the variables in the algorithm have a starting value which changes over time, but 'download' will instantly reset those variables to their initial value. The challenge is that not only do you need to make sure that the initial values produce reasonable audio, but that as those values change over time they do not drift so far from the initial values that a pop would be audible.
Good luck!
Hello Rainy75x,
There is a chance that this could be simply hardware related. As in the outputs being DC coupled so that when you power up it will pop or that sort of thing.
What hardware are you using? One of our eval boards or an open market board or your own board?
I see you did attach your project. I will try to find the time to test it out here at my desk. Things have been busy for me recently.
Thanks,
Dave T
