Hello everyone,

I’m currently developing a prototype aviation headset and I’m looking for support with integrating an active noise cancellation (ANC) solution at the DSP level.

I have a bit of background in Machine Learning, a bit of understanding of audio, LMS and its variants FxLMS and FxNLMS, feedback and feedforward ANC, primary and secondary paths. But I'm far from being an expert in the field.

I did find this GitHub Project super interesting and the paper linked to it does demonstrate hybrid ANC.

But I'm a bit out of my comfort zone. I'm a software developer, I love 3D printing, CNC machining, building PCBs for fun, but for this project I only designed the concept and wrote the embedded software. I've already got someone for the mechanical design and the electronics, but I'm missing someone that could help tune in an ANC algorithm.

And old friend of mine, good old electronics engineer, said maybe forums like this one could be a good place to find the right person to help me out.

Would love to get feedback and if someone think they can be the right person, PM me :) !

Wishing you guys a very good day !

Hello aviation101,

I think we should be able to connect you with a 3rd party developer who has experience with ANC. I just do not want to do this on the open forum. So I will send you a PM with a person to contact that should be able to help you find someone.

Thanks,

Dave T
