Thread Summary

The user encountered a compilation error 'The algorithm: MultPeregrineAlg4 is out of source destination' when adding a multiplier in the FastDSP path to adjust static gains. The solution involved adding a T connection, which does not consume MIPS, to resolve the issue. The user was also advised to send the project directly for further assistance.

Hi

I'm really puzzled here. I need to adjust static gains in the FastDSP path e.g. for production tolerances. I want to set the gain from SigmaDSP. I'm using a multiplier with signal as one input and the gain value as the other. Pretty straight forward.

I'm getting this error which is related to the multiplier X3. When I add that and compile the error is there.

"The algorithm: MultPeregrineAlg4 is out of source destination."

If I remove the T connection I get the same error. I have tried to removed other elements (general 2nd order filters) in the FastDSP to free up resources - but still the same result.

I have attached a few screenshots.

1. With 1 multiplier - nothing in the R channel (Output2). Compiles fine, no error.

2. First Error message.

3. 2nd error message

Please guide me in where to change to fix this issue.

BR John

Hello John,

I exactly don't know about all modules in your schematics since you didn't attach it. So, I couldn't try it exactly.

But I made this below schematic based on your explanation which compiles and runs correctly with my board.

The SigmaDSP sets the gain for the FDSP output.

Please try this attached project, if this project isn't similar to yours, then add your schematics and send over your project.

Hi Harish,

Thanks for looking into this matter. I can't share the project openly. Can I somehow send it to you directly?

Best regards

John

Hello,

For this particular problem with Compilation,

By adding a T connection in the signal flow make it compile the project, while it's hard to say why it works but it can be taken as a workaround to move further.

And the T connection is free of cost, it doesn't consume any MIPS.

For other customers, please follow this step if you come across similar issue like this.

Regards,

Harish
