Hi,

The library in SigmaStudio for ADAU1701 is as far as I can see, without an AGC (AVC) block, that is Automatic Gain (Volume) Control. Will that option come soon? I read in the ez that it has been plans for it, and also that there are ways around, but it would be much easier with a block similar to the one that is to be found in the library for ADAU1442.

Hello rgaustad,

There is not an actual AGC cell that is called that but there are many dynamics cells where you can put together an AGC functionality and have a lot of control over how it reacts. There are a number of compressors and limiters and also envelope generators for sensing the level. You can adjust the release times to make it move more slowly like an AGC would. So start experimenting with those cells. There should be plenty of example on the forum. Ask more questions if you need to.
