Hello Everyone,

In normal operation the DSP parameters in my project (ADAU1442 and ADAU1452) are set by a microcontroller. I can read them back from the DSP and store them to a file.

When I connect to my DSPs from Sigma Studio all parameters are set to their default values. I would now like to import the parameters from the file into Sigma Studio. The only way I found is the generation and import of sequence files.

Are sequence files the only (or best) way to import parameters into Sigma Studio?

Hi Christian:

I believe this is correct. Trying to import them directly into the schematic (via scripting) will imply that you use the same formulas as we do (and that there is a way to convert coefficients into higher level parameters). This would either be impossible or very difficult to do.

Thanks a lot for the helpfull and fast answer. I will try to use the sequence files.

Do I understand it correctly, that when executing a sequence in Sigma Studio the contained coefficients are set, while this not visible in the controls (as they are higher level parameters)?

For those who are interrested: I opened a new question that supports this question by asking about more details about the generation of sequence files.
