Hi, needing to output an hardware flashing led , I thought to use the output square wave block. It works perfectly. But, after designing more functions using other bloks modules, the square wave block stops working. Also using other blocks like timers to simulate the same effect, have no success. No full memory errors nor something like that. It seems that bloks requiring a simple delay or count, don't works anymore or no more room in memory .

There's an easy way to see a detailed compiled file with error warning?

If I show Output , after compiling, the frame remain blank. Why?

Sigmastudio 1.16 beta (also 1.15 has the same issue).

Hello Charlie,

A couple of possibilities:

You could be running out of instructions. If you go over 1024 it will give out a warning. What it will not give you a warning for is if you are close to the limit but some of the overhead instructions cause you to go over the limit.

So have a look at the compiler_Output.txt file. That file is located in the net_list_out2 folder that is in the IC1 folder for your project.

If that looks fine then it is most likely something in your program is "stepping on" memory locations that it is not supposed to be writing to. The usual culprits are index controlled objects or tables. Many of them do not check for an input that exceeds the number of indexes it is setup for. Doing that is very wasteful of DSP instructions so many objects do not do it. So look for that in your program. Placing ReadBack cells can help you find it. You can also post your project here so we can have a look.

Thank so much for your hints. I enclose the project files so you could give

a look and hopefully find some error. The schematic downloads perfectly.

Some times not all the audio equalizers work fine.

Charlie

Hi Dave, I've placed one .rar file with all my project inside, did you find it? Follow the link:
