hello,

Anyone know an IC chip that can convert ADAT OPTICAL taken from optical emitter/receiver (let's say TOTX(RX)147) to a TDM8 format ?

that would do the same job as AL1401/02 but with one TDM bus out/in instead of 4 x I2S ?

Hi,

you could use one of the xmos devices. They have an AppNote regarding Adat and their sport library supports i2s and tdm.

let me now the outcome of it. I am using the XMOS devices, too but never used the ADAT lib. Therefore, I am interested in your experiences.
