ADAU1452 Data Sheet description of available library
Hello
I have a question about ADAU1452 data sheet description.
I found the following description on ADAU1452 data sheet at 23page.
That describes available algorithms in the provided libraries include the following.
• FFT and frequency domain processing algorithms
Although, I cannot found any FFT library in the lates SigmaStudio.
If there is a way to use FFT library, please let me know.
Thanks and Regards,

SigmaDSP Audio Processors
Hello takumi3952,
Since the SigmaDSP program is run during every sample period the FFT functions need to be run in another stream. In SigmaStudio this is called "Block Processing" and it is entered using the Block Schematic tab in the main window next to Hardware Configuration and Schematic tabs.
When you click on the Block Schematic tabs the Tree Toolbox changes to show the cells that can be used for block processing. These library cells are still too few but we are actively adding to them and the next release will have more. Up until recently the block processing routines have been mostly custom routines. Should your customer require more specific cells then contact your ADI representative and let them know.

How does one receive documentation for custom routine creation? I've seen this mentioned before, but have been unable to find any information about it.
(I understand it is not simple, and can create support headaches, but I would like to try, as others have.)
Hello Dave,
Thanks for your reply.
I just understood blockschematic and frequency domain block set.
I'd like to try evaluation of basic FFT function.
So, I have one more question about block audio input and output.
Is there any way to use these block input/output modules?
If you know sample project or document location, please let me know.
Thanks and Regards,
T.Tanaka
Hello,
Does anyone know how to acquire frequency domain data from FFT module?
I do not know how to acquire data in the frequency domain.
Thanks,
T.Tanaka
Hello Joe,
Support and documentation are the issues with distributing the tools for creating custom code. I noticed you are local to us here in Wilmington. Contact me directly. My email is david.thibodeau

Hello T.Tanaka,
Many of these library cells are new and we have not developed good examples for using them yet. Plus, there are still a few more cells that need to be developed to make these really useful. This should be done in the coming months so that will allow more applications to be developed using standard cells instead of requiring custom cells.
Feel free to contact us through our usual local support channels near you. Then we can discuss more specific information off of the public forum.
