TomY Question

Hi, ADI Support Team

I have a question about IOVDD of ADAU145x.

The IOVDD Voltage is specified in Table 2 and 3 of the datasheet (Rev.C) as follows.
Min 1.71V
Typ 3.3V
Max 3.63V

However, I find a lot of description of "IOVDD = 1.8 V − 10% to 3.3 V + 10%" in the datasheet.
1.8V - 10% = 1.62V
3.3V + 10% = 3.63V

Therefore, I think that Min value shoud be 1.62V in Table 2 and 3.

Do you have any reason it is 1.71V?

Best regards, TomY.

Hello TomY

I looked into this issue and found that the error is in the text at the top and not the number in the table.

The IOVDD is tested to +10% and -5%.

This will be changed in the next revision of the datasheet.

Hi, Dave

Thank you for your answer.

Please let me confirm below just in case.

You mean the description of the datasheet will be changed as follows?

"IOVDD = 1.8V-5% to 3.3V+10%"

Therefore, I understood that IOVDD is Min 1.71V and Max 3.63V.

Based on this IOVDD specification, I'd like to confirm one more thing.

How should I think about VIH/VIL and VOH/VOL in each case 1.8V and 3.3V?

The description of the current datasheet is as follows.

For example, when IOVDD is 2.5V, how should I think about VIH/VIL and VOH/VOL?

In this case, I think there is not this specification in the current datasheet.

Best Regards, TomY
