Dear ADIer
I want to understand how to control sigma dsp via external I2C processor for volume control in my project which is composed by input, volume and output.

I'll be appreciated if you explain the procedure with screnn capture from Sigmadsp.

Hello,

which processor are you using? It does not make too much difference for the basic communication but there might be some small but important details to know.

Are you going to have the DSP boot itself up?

If you watch the capture window you will see how SigmaStudio communicates with the DSP objects running in the DSP. This is how you would communicate. There is no code running in SigmaStudio, it is all running on the DSP and all SigmaStudio does is change settings and registers to control objects in the program like input switching, volume and output switching.
