New FFT options Sigma Studio

I was excited to see that there was a new update for sigma studio adding some FFT options to the 145x series. It looks like there are some basic operators for complex numbers.

I am confused by the "complex splitter" component. It looks like it splits a complex number into its real and imaginary parts so that you can do some calculations. The part has green (complex) input and red (not-complex?) outputs, but there is only one operator (addition) for the red type of output.

Am I missing something or can you really only do addition on the individual components of a complex signal? Would it possible to see a working example of what you can do with the "complex splitter"?
