ADAU1452 E2Prom.hex EEPROM Programming

We are working on getting our device ready for production run and i was wondering if the E2Prom.hex generated from Sigma Studio can be used to program the EEPROM before it is placed on the board or if we need to alter the format. Looking at the file I know it is not intel hex32 or the like and just looks like a continuous memory array to be written.
