Hi. Can i with my ADAU1701 miniz Board handle 2 digital inputs (2 Stereo Channels)?
On my Project we have 2 different soundmodules.
The MCLK, BCLK, LRCLK is sync on all.
I use the SDATA_IN for the first soundmodule (Stereo)
but i dont see an second input like SDATA1

Hello Remo,

It can be done but will require some mods to the board.

The SDATA1 input is on multi-function pin MP1. On the Mini eval board this pin goes to an LED to be used as a GPIO output. So you would have to remove the LED and change the resistor value to something like 22 or 33 ohms to help control reflections. Then solder a wire onto the LED pad. The cathode was tied to ground so you could tack on a two-pin header so you can use a shielded cable or a ribbon so ground can run along with the serial data. Just be sure to glue down any wires or connectors really well. I have ripped up enough SMT pads to learn that lesson.
