Hello,

The settings for the sampling frequency are up to 192 [KHz] from SigmaStudio but when changing it nothing happens.

So I want to know what the maximum frequency is to work with external signals or generate tones?

Thank you very much

Hello Carlos,

Since the AD1940 lacks internal converters, it relies upon the AD1938 codec on your EVAL-AD1940MINIB board to provide analog inputs & outputs. This codec is hardwired for standalone mode -- which forces a 48K sample rate. So although you can set the AD1940 to run faster, the converters in your EVAL-AD1940MINIB remain stuck at 48K. Thus you're limited to the audio frequency range with this eval board.

Best regards,

Bob
