EVAL-ADAU1772 I2S to PDM

Hi,
So i just got my Eval-ADAU1772 and decided to so a small experiment.

So basically what I'm trying to achieve is to convert analog mic input signal into PDM output using Sigma studio.

I followed the guide http://www.analog.com/media/en/technical-documentation/user-guides/UG-477.pdf But when i connect the eval kit to my board i don't get anything out. (i did check if my dev board is working by connecting a PDM microphone)

The next step was to use the eval kit as a I2S to PDM converter with analog output for controlling purpose. also with no luck.

Could someone please point me in the right direction?
