Hi,

I observed that the "Pitch Transposer Data Controlled" block is loosing its value when the session is saved. If you change the value in the UI everything is compiled/applied correctly in the DSP but when you save the session and open it again it is back to the default setting. Not a big problem but sometimes annoying that you have to remember to set it back to the correct value every time... perhaps something for the SigmaStudio BugTracker :-)

Hello Alex,

Yes, I verified this bug in the Data-Controlled Pitch Transposer. The Standard version doesn't share the problem:

This has happened in the past with, for example, the Sigma 300 (ADAU145x) External Slew Volume Control:

[Bug Report] 1452 Ext Volume block doesn't save its settings

My project had dozens of these blocks, making this a serious inconvenience. Fortunately, ADI's SigmaStudio team fixed it quickly. Hopefully they'll do the same with the bug you found.

Best regards,

Bob

DaveThib 's question underscores a general principle: When reporting a bug, it helps to describe the chip being used. Each of the three families -- Sigma100 (AD1940, ADAU1701), Sigma200 (ADAU144x), and Sigma300 (ADAU145x) features its own chip architecture and respective compiler. Thus, many bugs affect only one SigmaDSP family

Hello Guys,

Just a quick note that I have been notified that the bug report I submitted has been completed and the fixed version will be included in the Rev 4.0 release of SigmaStudio. I am not certain exactly when we are planning to release the new version of SigmaStudio. It should not be far off.

SigmaStudio 4.0 ! With the first digit typically suggesting major updates, this may prove a very interesting release. Sigma 3.x is all I've known.
