Buffer

Dear all, using the ADAU170x and the white noise generator funtion, we would like to create a repetitive sequence: The generator will switch ON during 10 s and after switch off during another 10s, and repeat this sequence undefined. Thank you in advance for your help.

I don't think you can control the noise function that easily. Your best bet is to hack some kind of MLS algorithm to create the noise sequence. It probably takes a little cleverness but I'm sure it can be done with various arithmetic blocks.

May be I was using the wrong word "sequence" and it confuse the question.

Really we would like to create a simple switch (ON/OFF), for any type of signal, from the input signal o from internally DSP signal generated, during a user defined time, (example: 10 sec signal ON, 10 sec signal OFF, and repeat). Is it possible?. How can implement it with Sigmastudio and DSP ADAU1702?.. Thank you for your support and ideas.

My mistake, I misunderstood. I'd use a pulse source and multiply it with the signal you want to toggle.

Hello Alvero1,

This is what joe42 was talking about. It works great.

I put in a readback so you can see the pulse rate switch between 0 and 1.

This schematic will give you a 10 sec on and 10 sec off of the white noise.
